Tip of the cap to my Order of Canada father

I’ve fallen way behind on keeping my “Keenan Speaks” site updated, probably because any “extra time” I have goes to my new role with Nonprofit Quarterly, mainly contributing weekly newswires.  I have continued my regular appearances on the 1310 News Power Lunch (about once a month) and on March 22 had a bit of fun discussing the issue of “new bridges” for Ottawa. I had mentioned to host Mark Sutcliffe that my father Barry Wellar had recently received the Order of Canada, and he brought this up in the context of this topic, so I channeled dad a bit in this segment that ends with a Barry-style zinger!
